- Educational sessions of a traditional lecture pattern delivering basic and practical knowledge.
- Special Focus Session
- Knowledge-sharing session dealing with current trends and the latest advances in a specific topic.
- Series Course
- Combined sessions of the keynote lecture(s) and scientific presentations. The keynote lecture may contain an introduction to the scientific research(es) which will be presented in the same session.
- Hot Issues
- Overview sessions dealing with the new developments, techniques, practice guidelines, and promising researches. Examples include 'Radiogenomics', ACS screening guidelines, and Translational researches.
- State-of-the-Art Session
- Meet-the-professor sessions providing advanced knowledge based on diverse and plentiful experiences. The presenters may use an informal, interactive approach. Examples are "Navigation US" and "Ablation therapy for liver tumors".
- Pros & Cons (=Debate) Session
- Sessions with debatable topics usually after the chairperson's introduction to the topic. The panelists may share their different opinions. Examples are 'US vs CT in appendicitis' and 'Benefits and harms of supplemental breast screening'.
- Multi-Disciplinary Session
- Sessions sharing distinctive expertise with multidisciplinary approach in a viewpoint of clinicians and other specialists. Examples are "Imaging-pathologic correlation" and "Surgical anatomy or surgical techniques radiologists need to know".
- Multi-Session Course
- Sessions dealing with multi-organ or multi-modality issues. Examples are "Elastography in liver, breast, or other organs" and "Cross-sectional imaging and US correlation".
- Case-Based Reviews
- Sessions presenting interesting cases in either narratives or interactive way.
